JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Sam: the presentencing process took about 6 months
and they gathered information on my whole life
and used it against me at sentencing
JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning?
Sam: no
JM: What was your court appearance like?
Sam: it was very scary they took us there hand cuffed
and shackled and marched us in to a holding area
and took us to court one at a time i sat at a
table with my lawyer and the prosecuter sat at a
table becide ours and the judge sat in front of
us facing us
